
My nearly 30-year nursing career has been very rewarding. For 14 of those years, I served as a nursing director. However, during the last 2 years in that position, I personally experienced the effects of burnout and witnessed it in many of my colleagues as well.
As I became interested in a more holistic approach to my own health and burnout, I learned to integrate evidence-based modalities including breathwork, meditation, and restorative yoga. Above all, I was able to reconnect with what really matters most to me. The journey to a better balanced life helped me find my authentic purpose, to serve others struggling with burnout and caregiver fatigue.
