At Better Balance Wellness, it’s my mission to empower women to overcome burnout and caregiver fatigue, creating a more balanced work-life. Harmony. I was honored to serve as a nursing director for 14 years. My last two years in that role brought challenges that changed the landscape of healthcare. I personally experienced the effects of burnout and witnessed it in many of my colleagues as well. When I broadened my view, I realized that burnout can occur to anyone.
I became interested in a more holistic approach to my own health and stress, and learned to integrate evidence-based modalities that support self-care including stress management strategies, reconnecting with my values and how to align priorities to them. I also learned how much better you feel with healthy nutrition, daily movement and adequate sleep.
As a board certified Integrative Nurse Coach, I am dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with what is important to them and rediscover their joy. Inner peace can be nurtured by focusing on lifestyle, health and well-being. Taking time to recharge is not a luxury; it’s a necessity for healing. Prioritizing self-care is essential for those who care for others.
